Jet Blue-annoying - UPDATE
DH and I are going to the Bahamas for a destination wedding/babymoon in Jan. We booked the 6:30am flight on Jet Blue for Wed so that we would get the WHOLE day out of it, plus not have to deal w/ rush hour traffic heading into the airport. Well I got an email yesterday notifying me that the schedule had been changed...not that our flight had been canceled just that they changed their schedule. Now instead of arriving there at 9:30 am we won't be there till 3pm. All they are offering me is a free flight change to the day before or day after but if we do that then we have to change our flight home and that will cost us $210. I guess it's not a huge deal but when you are only going away for 5 days to lose half of one is pretty annoying.
Do I have any recourse?
UPDATE - I had try to change the flights yest but they wanted to charge me for changing the flight home and that was going to cost 105/person so $210. Well DH called them today and got someone to change the flights to Thurs/Monday for free! YAY! I'm so happy.

Jet Blue does that every time DH and I use them. Usually it is only a 15 minute difference though. I would try calling them if I were you. See what they can do.

I once had a Delta or American flight that changed significantly like that and they refunded my full purchase price - maybe Jetblue has a similar policy. good luck!

ughh.. they just did this to my BIL.. it was frustrating.. needless to say he is not flyng jet blue anymore..
i dont know what is up with them lately

Same thing happened to us when we booked them to Seattle. First they changed the time of our flight the day we were going in. That was annoying but we still were going in a day before our cruise, so it was okay. Then a week later, they changed the flight coming home. It was leaving before we got off the ship! We had to cancel both flights and book with Delta.
