Jetblue "Even more space"?
Does anyone think its worth upgrading from the regular seat to the "extra" legroom seats? they also allow you to board first but with assigned seats I am not sure how much that matters.. Really looking to see if the seats have that much more of a difference. I will be flying with my DH and 10 and 8 year old - flight is about 4.5 hours
Thanks

Re: Jetblue "Even more space"?
If we're flying for more than 4 hours, we do the upgrade - especially since DH is 6'4". The other reason is that it's usually just the 2 of us flying and Jet Blue is 3 x 3 seating so we don't like to be in such close quarters with a third unknown person.
However, if you're all a little smaller and since you'll all be in the same row, I don't know if I'd do it. It's not like going from coach to first class where it's a HUGE difference. You do notice that you have more room though.

Re: Jetblue "Even more space"?
I would want it, but would be ok without it. DH is a bit shorter than me and it really doesn't make much difference to him. Check the type of aircraft you have bc some of JetBlue's flights have 34" pitch in the regular seats and some are 32". If it's already 34", I'd be less likely to upgrade.

Re: Jetblue "Even more space"?
It's a must do for us for a few reasons:
Of course the extra room, a few inches on a plane makes a big difference.
The early boarding and even though you get assigned seats, think about if you are bringing any carry on luggage or bags and the over head bin space. I have been on planes where passengers sat towards the front and the bins were so full by the time they boarded they had to put bags 10 rows back and wait till the plane cleared to get bags......no thanks!

We did because our credit card allows us to spend a certain amount of $ on our chosen airline.
It was ok. It did feel bigger but not sure did like boarding first.

Re: Jetblue "Even more space"?
We just flew JetBlue this weekend and I didn't find the regular seats bad. DH is 6'2" and he didn't complain. We were the first row of "regular" seats so we saw the "even more space" seats and it's minimal.

I don’t find the regular JetBlue seats bad. I have their credit card so I get early boarding as well.

DH is 6'8" so it's a must for him.
