Jewish Holiday
Please help me! My father has been dating this women who is Jewish and celebrates Rosh Hashanah. She invited DH and I over this Sat. to celebrate with her family. What do I bring over?????????? Should I make something, bring something, what is good to bring for this dinner. I am ignorant as to the customs and traditions of this holiday. Thank you for any help or advise you all can give me.

Re: Jewish Holiday
I would suggest you play it safe and bring flowers or another non-food gift. If you do want to bring food then you should definately call her to ask if she keeps a Kosher kitchen. At the very least, she may be planning on serving only Kosher food at the meal and you would want to abide by Kosher dietary laws.

I like the Bartenura wines a lot, as well as Barkan.
