Job Opening- Assistant to 2 VP's at a Wine Importing and Distributing Company

There is a job opening at my company (its my job actually)- and I figured I’d put the feelers out there to see if anyone was interested. For those who don’t know (although I’m pretty sure that all of you do know) that I work for a Wine Importing and Distributing company located in Lake Success, NY. The job is the Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Sales and the Vice President of NY Sales. It is not your typical assistant job. You MUST know excel very well, and pretty much everything you do will be in excel. You will be reporting to 2 separate people who at times can be on 2 different pages- but I never found it too difficult to report to 2 different people. You will coordinate their monthly sales meetings, which includes ordering the wine to be tasted, coordinating with the suppliers that are presenting, as well as coordinating with the brand managers who are presenting, confirming and coordinating the time slots for each person presenting, typing up the meeting notes, making sure the conference room in the office is in tip-top shape, etc. You will also coordinate with the wineries that we represent to set up tours and tastings for the trade, manage a market work schedule and send out confirmations to all who are working in the market, as well as handling any requests for reports that the sales reps and your bosses may ask for.

I am leaving because I got a job at a university where I can work and go to school at the same time.
