Re: Jodi Picoult???
Her books are pretty much stand alones although a few character pop up again.
I loved My Sisters Keeper in fact it was the first one I read. It's a good one to start with.
Happy reading

Re: Jodi Picoult???
Her books are pretty stand-alone, as a previous posters said. "My Sister's Keeper" is a great one, So is "Nineteen Minutes," "Plain Truth," "The Pact," and "Keeping Faith."
I started "Salem Falls" and "Mercy" but didn't love either of them. That could be just my taste though. The first few I mentioned were so good I couldn't put them down. I just read Plain Truth and The Pact in about 5 days total. She's a great writer, it's just that all her stories don't grab me.

I started with "My Sister's Keeper" and that's what got me hooked on her writing style. They aren't a series.

Re: Jodi Picoult???
My Sister's Keeper was the first Jodi Picoult book I read. I read it in like 2 days, could not put it down!
The order you read her books really don't matter.
I've also read The Pact and I am currently reading 19 Minutes. The Pact was not my favorite thus far.

That was the first one I read. Then The Plain Truth, and now I am on Nineteen Minutes.

Re: Jodi Picoult???
I finished nineteen minutes in one day.
I couldn't put it down.
DH was like, HELLO???
The Pact I probably read 10 years ago and it still haunts me.
Sister's Keeper was good. 10th Circle was good.
The only thing with her is once you read a lot of her books you start to guess the "twist" before it can actually surprise you.
