Joe Jackson: Michael's Kids Could Be Performers
Joe Jackson predicts Michael Jackson's children could wind up in the entertainment business just like their famous father.
"I keep watching Paris," he said of the 11-year-old girl (who spoke at the Tuesday memorial service) on ABC's Good Morning America Friday. "She wants to do something."

Michael Prince II -- the 7-year-old known as Blanket -- "can really dance," Joe said. "That's what they're saying. He can really dance."

That man is his own worst enemy!! SHUT UP.
Everytime I think of those kids with him I just imagine them moving piles of bricks back and forth all day. I may have watched The Jackson movie too many times.

Everytime I think of those kids with him I just imagine them moving piles of bricks back and forth all day. I may have watched The Jackson movie too many times.
I think about how they would have to select their stick off the tree's for their beatings because one of them missed a turn.

This is the one major problem I have with Katherine getting the kids. I don't think her and Joe live together, but that man is a piece of work and still doesn't see all the damage he did to his own kids. I would hate for him to get his hands on another generation  .

I forgot where I read it, but it said they just celebrated their 60th anniversary, but it meant nothing since they hadn't lived together in many years.

Katherine and Joe Jackson are still married and recently marked their 60th anniversary. But their relationship has long been difficult and they have not lived together for years, according to a close friend of the singer who did not want to be identified because the person was not authorized to discuss the family.

great now he sees dollar signs in his grandkids, for some reason with how much michael shielded them from the public eye i dont think he would want them is show biz, especially not while they are still young

the last thing anyone should be thinking of is his kids in the spotlight.....they should be protected from all that BS for awhile - and let them decide when they are older if that is what they want to do......

Ugh! He doesn't even seem to be sad that his son died. His favorite memory is that his son was a the best entertainer?
Michael specifically left the kids to his MOTHER and not his parents. I don't know if it is possible to truly do that if they are still legally marriedm but he clearly didn't want his father involved.

I hope they keep that man away from those kids. Who makes statements like that days after the children's FATHER DIED?!
I am not comfortable with Katherine getting the kids. Joe was horrifically abusive and Katherine did nothing to stop that.

I would assume it's possible. You can give legal custody to just one person -- you don't automatically assume custody of a child through marriage.
ETA -- I don't think Katherine will be able to effectively keep the kids away from Joe, which is my big problem with all of this.

This guy makes me sick.... Someone needs to keep him FAR FAR away from those kids, all he cares about is himself. I think hes the main reason Michael had all the problems that he did.

Yep and that is why he was also trying to plug his record company on Larry King the the week MJ passed. It was supposed to be about his son not him. I found that disgusting.
I think I read that he lives in Vegas while she lives in Cali near where MJ lived.
