Joes Crab Shack
Is this place good?
We always see the commercials but no idea where it is
DH and I are big into crabs(blue claw mainly) so was wondering about it

I don't think there are any on LI.
My ex-b/f and I went once - it was good. Very busy chain restaurant, loud. The different buckets they had all sounded good. At the end of the day, its still a chain restaurant.

there's one in freeport on the nautical mile. i've been meaning to try it. i hear its really good.
ETA if you want awesome crab legs, Popei's in Bethpage is delicious! and they have all you can eat nights.

I ate in one in South Carolina and LOVED it!! I love crabs, lobster, shrimp, etc. It was a lot of food and IMO well worth the price!
It is a must try if you love shellfish

They are opening one shortly in Oceanside. In the Sands shopping center on Long Beach Road.

I'm from out East and just read they are looking to open one in Riverhead where Boulder Creek used to be.

I went on the location finder on joes crab shack website and it listed Freeport as one of their locations

Never mind in was wrong about that - it was Oceanside not Freeport, I think that was the google one I saw Freeport on...
