Jogger/Runner Moms...

Which jogger stroller do you like/dislike and why?

It's something fun for us to think about...After baby is here, we want to get a jogger stroller for the city parks, including Central Park.

Thanks!

Re: Jogger/Runner Moms...

I just got this one for mother's day. it's the dreamer design manhattan. i like it because it rides so smooth and it gives you plenty of room to have a long stride without kicking the wheels. it has tons of storage pockets and compartments. the canopy is big enough and rotates all the way down and it also came with a rain cover. it's heavy and bulky, but i think that's the way all joggers are. it's also nice because i has a front swivel wheel incase you want to bring it shopping or something, but it also locks for running. i've only walked with it so far because you're not supposed to jog/run until the baby is at least 6 months old and they have enough neck stability. DS loves it too. We just used it today and he fell right asleep and has been napping in it since we got home. Chat Icon The BOB strollers are supposed to be really good too.

Re: Jogger/Runner Moms...

I have the BOB and loved the fact that it has an infant carrier adapter so I started running with the baby when she was 8 or 9 weeks old. I didn't necessarily love how heavy it is though but I may have just needed to get used to it. Since I got pregnant five months after she was born, I haven't had much practice!

My neighbor runs 6+ miles and has the "baby jogger" and loves it.

Thanks!

I'm losing my mind since I can't run b/c of the m/c. I'm trying to keep the light on at the end of the tunnel...We're looking forward to adding another future runner to our family Chat Icon
