John Edwards - what do you think of him, has anyone been to his shows?
He's going to be on Long Island for a show in December. I'm thinking about going...
What do you think about him, have you been to his shows, did he read you?

If you're interested in seeing a medium I highly recommend Robert Hansen. You're going to pay a LOT of money to see Edwards & sit in a big crowd...where with Hansen it's more than half price & a much much much smaller crowd.

I have seen John Edwards plenty of times and absolutely love him and his shows.....he is frequently at Westbury Music Fair and is definitely worth seeing if you still can get tickets...however he only reads about 4 or 5 people. Either way it's always very interesing and most of the time heartbreaking. My ex Fiancee and his mother had been read three times by him....two of which happened to be at Westbury Music Fair. They also went to a private venue I believe in Manhattan to see him. My ex's deceased brother always comes through bringing through his uncle (my ex future MIL's brother in law...confusing!!) John stated facts and things that only they would know. It was amazing to have had someone that close to me being read and the emotion behind it...whew!! My future in MIL was in tears by the time the reading was over. Her lil son supposedly has such a strong power that he frequently comes through and he is somehow my ex fiancees guardian angel. He lives through my ex. It's kind of freaky. John brought back instances that meant a lot to them. I have to admit, I was very cynical about him, until I saw their first reading at Westbury Music Fair and then the second time at a venue in CT. You have to actually be read or know someone that is read before you actually do believe in it. Good luck if you go. I say it's definitely worth it. I wanted so bad to go myself this December but never got tickets. Now I don't know if they are still available. He usually sells out fast!!

I was in a crowd of about 300 at a book store and read me and knew things that NO ONE (except me) knew about my brother who died in 1995. Little secrets we shared, things that I did in private during his wake and at te funeral that NO ONE knew, he let me know that my brother knew what I did. I mean how did he know that wore his favorite Madonna Blonde Ambition Tour T-shirt to bed every night, or how did he know the make and model of his car (which was sooo precious to my brother) He knew that I put a special earring in my brother's ear during the wake . He knew such intricate details that he made me a believer. I have tix to go see him on Dec 7 at Westbury.

I love watching his show and I have gone to see him at Westbury Music Fair. He read people sitting by us and they were very touched by his reading. It can be disappointing though since there are so many people there, he doesn't get to too many people. It was a fun experience.

Can I ask all the sceptics why you don't believe him?
My gf had him at her house way before he was famous and she said he knew things that he could never have known. I also have a vendor that went to him about his mom and there were things he said only his dad would have known and he wasn't even there!!
I totally believe him. He does not know these people before the show.
I think if you have ever had "feelings" about things, you will believe.

I was actually read by a woman..I cannot recall her name, she is mentioned in John Edwards book though...My moms friends mother hired her, I just happened to be at that gathering as was my mom....i will tell you that woman said things to me through my father who passed many years ago that NO ONE knew...It freaked me out because prior to that I was half a skeptic..still am, but I do believe in that womans ability..only because I am so private about some things that I tell no one..and this woman freaked me out...

no, it is so much more than that, hlf of the time he throws out facts and doesn't even see who he will be dealing with. I agree some mediums are "guessers", but he just knows too much. He knew my brother's dogs name (Chauncy) what are the chances of that, yeah, Fido, or Spot seems like a guess, but Chauncy? He also told me the street he lived on in Queens, and what he did for a living and his lover's name, etc, too much to be a coincidence

i watch his show on WE and i'm always touched by the reactions people have to his readings. i believe he's real. i dont think you can just "guess" the things that he says, "he was an athlete and died with his teammates?", "your mom was sick in her abdominal section and thats what killed her?", "your dad had an old black car that you all made fun of?". Sure these questions are not as specific as some would like, but they cant just pick someone out of an audience and ask those kinds of questions in the hopes of there being a connection. for those that dont believe in him, maybe you're reading this and thinking i'm a fool for believing. but i always want to go see him live when he's in the area in the hopes of hearing from my grandmother again. if there's one thing john edwards is good at it's giving you hope...

I'm not a sceptic, but like I said above...you'll be much better off saving some money and have more of a chance of being read if you're in a smaller setting like with Robert Hansen.
I was read by him and I can't even explain how amazing the experience was... no one but me and the person that came through knew some of these things.

I know a family that went to john edwards and thought he was great and did a good job reading for them
This same family also went to Robert Hansen and used a family name that was not known - they lost the patriarch of the family in 9/11 and it was publicized - they said he did an amazing job - he knew someone was expecting and she had not told anyone and he knew odd things about their family and a lot about other members who had died - very strange
