We're warming up to it. The pace is slow, and the answers slim to none.
I like when John repeats things in just the right context to make it funny. But if he doesn't do something else soon, I'm going to be getting bored.
We thought he was the grim reaper, then an angel, and now we think he's an alien.

We watch it and like it.... I tried to get my parents into it but they can't stand it.... I like the characters and the twists and turns. I also love Ed O'Neils character...I laugh so hard at everything he says

I am starting to really like it. As long as the kid has little to say  He is really a terrible actor.
I am looking forward to all the peices falling into place. I am sure that his repetitive sayings to each person - ed oneill - "I've got my eye on you", Kai and Cas - "See god" - and Luke Perry "The end is near" all mean something.

DH and I watch it- missed last night though- I have it on DVR for tonight.
It is SLOW- I don't get anything. But I watch it anyway, bc it's HBO, and I like the writing.
But c'mon people. Throw us a bone.

Agreed. I'm surprised they cast him with such little talent. I was hoping that surfing accident would give him some acting ability. No such luck.

The kid is a pro skateboarder, not so much an actor.
I like that. - he does his own skate/ surf stunts.
Kai is a pro surfer.

Cool, I had no idea. I feel better now, that they cast them for good reasons!
I like SeeGodKai. But she always looks like she slept on a wet head of hair. 
We haven't seen her surf at all yet, have we? I don't remember.

ACK! He is the worst- after Rebecca DeMornay- she sounds like she is from Brooklyn, not CA.
ETA: I met Kai a bunch of times as surfer- I was so surprised to see her on this show since she isn't an actor at all

I think Kai is doing a really good job - I liked that scene w/ her and Butchie. It was cute
