Hi everyone

We are ready to start TTC for our 2nd baby. i'm using a different name because i'm not ready for others to know yet.

We were not careful this month but only BD after EWCM was over.

I'm due for AF in 3 days but have had some small amounts of brown blood in CM for the past 2 days. i POAS yesterday and it was BFN. i usually never spot that many days before AF (usually just the day before).

Could i still get a BFP? ***UPDATE: got my AF this morning so question answered:)

If i'm not, i'm ready to really start TTC. Do you ovulate definitely during EWCM? or should i get an ovulation kit?

Not to get your hopes up, but you can have some spotting during the time 7DPO-10DPO due to implantation.

From what I understand so far, it seems that you usually O on the last day you have EWCM or thereabouts. How much after you stopped having EWCM did you BD? Did you BD at all any time during when you had EWCM or any CM?

I think there's a chance! GOOD LUCK!

If you're not pg, you can definitely start using OPK's or if you don't want to spend too much money, get a basal body temp thermometer and take your temp every morning as soon as you wake up (before you get out of bed or do anything). Of course, with another child already at home, you can try tracking just CM and/or adding OPK's. Good luck!

Did you just come off of BCP? My first cycle off BCP I spotted for 2 days before AF came and I never spot. I was convinced I was PG.

But yes, you can still get a BFP. There are some girls on here who I think didn't get a BFP until several days after AF was due.

I believe you O on the last day you have EWCM. You'll notice a lot of it the day you O (although the amount varies for everyone), especially after going #2. You can also check your cervical position, as it is higher when you O and then drops back down after.
