Judge orders body preserved
While the autopsy was taking place, a California judge ruled Smith's body must be preserved until at least February 20, when a hearing will be held to resolve a paternity dispute over the celebrity's 5-month-old daughter.

the poor baby is being watched by the mother of one of anna's friends in the bahamas!

I am a little confused as to why they need HER body for the paternity test   
I would have thought that they only needed the baby and father.

I would have thought that they only needed the baby and father.
I thought the same thing until I heard the attorney for one of the fathers' this morning. It seems that they are afraid that there will be a "bait and switch" of this child and that the baby they test may not be Anna Nicole's after all. So, they need to make sure that this baby is, in reality, Anna Nicole's and not someone else's. This is what happens when there is ALOT of money at stake.

That judge should be shot. What would he do if it was his daughter in that position? Keep her on ice for 2 weeks? I don't think so.

Why can't they just save some blood and tissue? They do that in autopsies all the time.
