July 10th job fair NYC
Is anyone going? I have a list of schools that have registered to go as well as what they are hiring for if anyone is interested.

I think now they only want teachers hold a special license. I have gone twice to those and they really stink!
It is loud, you are competing with a million other teachers. You have to sign up fpr an interview time.
There lare really long lines for the good districts. I found it such a waste.
You are better off sending your eesumes straight to the schools unless you don't care what boro you work in.
I am still looking too!

well this one is an open fair it is not limited to areas. i went to one that was limited and got a bunch of 2nd interviews from it. i am just giving anyone who is going the option...up to them.

tracy..being optomistic is a good thing....its hard not to be neg. after so many failed attempts!! my fingers are crossed for you....
FYI...if you don't get it..you have a list of schools hiring. you can email/mail your resume to those schools directly.
