**JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

Can you believe it's almost June already?! Chat Icon

How are you feeling and what do you still have left to do?

Lizzy Update:
I feel really good but am starting to get uncomfortable if I sit or lay in one spot too long. I am up 25lbs and getting to the point where I only have a few select outfits that still fit well.

Had an OB appt this morning and everything looks great -- she's heads down but no dialation. I also had to fill out a "depression survey" that they comprare with my answers at the 6 week PP appt. Questions like "Do you feel so overwhelmed that you want to hurt yourself" and stuff like that Chat Icon Here's hoping for no PPD!

The main things left for me to do are:

1. pack hospital bag
2. get carseat checked in both cars
3. get baby room organized (most shower stuff is still in piles in the living room...)
4. put together high chair (my last thing to put together!! Chat Icon )

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

Hi!Chat Icon
I can't believe July is right around the corner!!!

I am 33 weeks today.
I have weekly appointments with high risk right now and every other week with my OB.

Weekly OB visits and internals dont start for me until June 8th.

Nursery is just about DONE!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon

My shower is tomorrow so once that happens I can get a move on putting everything together and finishing all of that.

I still have to:
officially choose my pediatrician
register with ViaCord!!
pack my hospital bag
and I am sure a few more things I am forgetting!

Here's to the July mommies!!!

You look great!!!

I have a few warm weather maternity outfits that I hope will be able to get me through. Sitting for long car rides and getting up after sitting for a long time is tough. I hate getting up in the middle of the night, too!Chat Icon

My to do list is shamefully long....
1. Settle on a name- so much harder than I imagined.

2. Complete DS big boy room and get the nurery ready for Chat Icon

3. Weed out gender neutral stuff for Chat Icon to wear from storage bins.

4. Get double stroller- torn between Combi, Chicco & Peg...

5. Pack hospital bag.

6. Get stuff together to keep at my mom's for DS when I am at hosp.

I'm sure there's more, but this is enough to keep my busyChat Icon

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

33 weeks here as well today. I am carrying much bigger than with my first boy, definently getting uncomfortable the past few weeks. Having these weird pains that the doc thinks is a muscle pain but I think he's wrong.
I have a feeling this little boy is going to arrive before my scheduled CS date.

What I need still done....................................
Everything! LOL.. Chat Icon
Chat Icon will be sleeping next to me in the cradle for the first several months, so I just need to bring that up from the basement and basically wash all of my first sons newborn clothes, etc.

Almost 33 weeks here (due July 14th)

Its hot, I'm annoyed with everything, and my ankles are swollen and I'm sick of getting so tired so quickly

I hope for no PPD as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if I experience that because I'm on antidepressants now

The main things left for me to do are:

1. pack hospital bag
2. Have shower in few weeks, organize that stuff

Can't do much else until I have my shower

Also, get some house projects finished, organized, get a steady cleaning lady, hoping we can seed some grass in the back, preparing for my courses this fall (teaching and taking)

UGH, I'm so frustrated thinking about it

and trying not to let MIL ruin this time for me

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

Hey,

You look GREAT!

I am 31 weeks.

I have NOTHING Done.

I have to;

Buy a car seat and maybe a bouncy seat
Decide on a name
Wash any gender neutral stuff from DD
Get my boss completely up to date - if thats possible before I start my ML
Try to get my DD's clothes sorted and make room for baby
Try to get some pics of DD sorted before I add to the pile online
Buy some baby necessities
Spend time with my DH and DD before #2 arrives

Overall I feel great - I have some pains just below my bra line in the middle of my chest - usually after I eat. I am awake for at least 1hr every night. I am constantly in the bathroom at night too. My appetite is not very big so happy about that as I know once DC is born and I am BF I will be eating like a horse. I am iron tablets aa my levels are low.

Overall everything ticking along well - wish I could prolong it a little longer - maybe have a 45 week pregnancy!!

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

I am 33 weeks and feeling just ok. My back kills me at work and my feet and ankles get really swollen but when I am home I magically feel better! Chat Icon My commute totally kills me...I can't wait to stop working (although I havent really figured out when that will be yet).

having trouble sleeping and wake up a bunch to go to the bathroom throughout the night. It is harder and harder to do anything physical at all and I am trying to get used to my body's limitations.

I have no idea how much weight I have gained because I try not to look at the scale when I am at the dr but I want to say it's around 30 lbs. yikes..

left to do....
pack hospital bag in a few weeks
organize the nursery
do some shopping for little necessities
get a monitor and a rug for the nursery
wash the baby clothes
a TON of house projects I want to get done while I have time now!

nice to see how all the other July mommies are doing! Chat Icon

You look adorable and so wonderful. I am due July 4th so I'm starting to get anxious. I have two boys and this will be our little girl. It's just as exciting each time.

I am up 28 lbs and that is great because I was up at least 40 lbs at this point with my boys:)

We started to put in a bathroom upstairs and had to knock down a wall in the room the boys are going to share. Because of the bathroom, nothing is really done. I figure I still have time since she'll be in our room for a couple of months.

I do need to go through all of the clothes and wash, hand, etc.

Basically haven't done much to prepare but I know it will all come together.

Just to add:
Make sure that you have a good supply of fluids in the house for when you come home. Especially if you nurse it's best to have the fridge already stocked with drinks.

I love these threads! Chat Icon

I am 33 weeks. I just had my work shower today and people were very generous. As I type, DH is putting together the swing! We don't have much done for the nursery because the furniture didn't come in and neither of my showers had happened until today. My big shower is next weekend and I'm so excited! I know there's lots to do, but my philosophy is that it always gets done somehow.

I am feeling ok. I definitely am getting more tired at work but I try to put on comfy clothes and put my feet up as soon as I get home. I think I need to start to take it easier at work. Someone told me today that I'm still the same as always, "full steam ahead" and that's probably not a good thing at 33 weeks preggo. I'm just so excited to see my little guy and start our family!

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

I am 34 weeks and I've had it.

My feet are SO swollen, I can't wear ANY of my shoes. Even the sandles i bought in a DOULBE WIDE with VELCRO straps are digging into my skin and it hurts. I have edema in my feet. My whole left arm and hand are constantly swollen and tingly and numb. My varicose veins are throbbing and my back pain is so bad I can barely walk. I've been to the chiropractor twice this week and had a massage today which helped a little, but i am still hurting. i see the doctor on Wednesday, and I am honestly hoping I can get a doctor's note to leave work early. I can't imagine another month of teaching and chasing after my class, i can't do it anymore.

Also, my house is a DISASTER ZONE! i have no kitchen ,there is dust everywhere... my dad is doing the kitchen and my FIL is finishing our basement, but they, esp. DH and FIL, don't understand how tired i am and how i can't take the mess, the dirt and the dust anymore... i am sick of drinking water from a plastic cup in the bathroom and eating out for every meal....i don't see how any of this is going to be finished before baby. i am sooo frustrated. they keep saying it will be done, but i am not holding my breath. in the meantime, i've literally moved home to my mom's where the house is clean and i can eat real food (the appliances are not hooked up yet because FIL is not done with the countertop and my Dad can't hook the sink or anything else til that is done!

I am constantly having to pee and ii just can't get comfortable at night... .i also have so much to do...

1. paint the nursery
2. put the furniture together
3. put stuff together (I haven't had my family shower yet so i don't have everything yet and the things i do have I can't put together because there is dust everywhere and no where to put anything! bang: Chat Icon
4. pick a pediatrician
5. pack up my classroom Chat Icon Chat Icon (I am taking a leave in Sept. and then will be returning to a new position so i lose my room)
6. hospital bag
7. shopping for incidentals for hospital stay (nursing top and bra) ,etc.
8 -100.... things i probably have to do but i dont' know what they are yet!

wow... this was a vent! SORRY! i am just feeling so done right now!!!!

32 weeks here. I am a July mommy now but looks like the reality is this kid is coming in June. With all my issues it is a crap shoot. My bag is packed as I have already had a hospital stay and more are in my future. The nursery won't get done till after since I don't know what I am having.

For now I live at the doctors and hope to hold this kid in as long as possible!

I am still down 5 lbs from where I started. Can't take credit between the GD diet and the barfing I am luck I get anything down!

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

Hey, I'm torn between being a June mommy and July. I'm thinking I'll end up being a June mommy (edd is july 2nd) because he's measuring so big and the dr doesn't think i'll make it to 40 weeks. i'm hoping and praying he's right!! haha
I've been feeling so uncomfortable and moving around is painful. I can't even sit myself up from the bed. for the most part, DH has to shove me off the bed in the middle of the night so I can go pee Chat Icon
I am almost done with the nursery. I'll be done hopefully by tonight. I just washed all of his clothes, bedding & bath towels. I'm waiting another 2-3 weeks to wash his crib bedding just so it's not sitting around for the very least another month.

Things left to do:
pack hospital bag
buy take home outfit for Chat Icon and mommy
take breastfeeding and baby care class
get car detailed & put in car seat base, mirror & window shade.

There's probably more but I just can't think haha

I am 31 weeks tomorrow and feel ok. I am having no trouble sleeping...just get up a ton to peeChat Icon When I lay in bed at night I notice that my left arm cannot stay still...it's such a weird feeling. I know some people have restless leg syndrome...I think I have restless arm syndrome.

I have no swelling which I'm very happy about. I do notice that I get out of breath faster and if I walk too much my legs and back start to kill me.

I think I've gained about 18 pound...we shall see when I go back to the docs next thurs..I'm sure I've gained more.

Left to do...everything.

Pick a name
Pick out bedding...I have a ladybug but may return.
Furniture still needs to be delivered.
Wash onsies from 1st DD
Pack hospital bag
Gosh the list goes on and on.

The nursery was painted this week so it's a start!

31 weeks on Monday.

My feet/ankle swelling is beyond annoying (and my right hand). Wore flip flops to work on Friday and that was a mistake because my foot just swelled up around the strap - confined in a pair of sneakers seems to work better.

Just got back from the hospital tour and got to see a day old baby - he looked so cute and TINY!

I think I've gained 24 pounds.

Looking to get the crib put together today (or this weekend). Still need to find curtains and shelves I like.

I am a July mommy but because of all my pre-term labor issues may bery likely end up a June mommy (praying I won't be a May mommy Chat Icon ).

I am 30.5 weeks and am incredibly uncomfortable. However, that is probably due to the fact that I am on bedrest.

What do I have left to do? Pretty much EVERYTHING!Chat Icon Its very frustrating because I can't do anything. I am still waiting for DD's big girl furniture to be delivered so I can set up the nursery. At least the room is painted!

I ordered a stroller - Joovy Ergo Caboose and I have packed my hospital bag (just in case). My house is a disaster because of bedrest and I am such a control freak that I have panic attacks about the chaos almost daily.

But on the plus side the baby is still cooking and will be here soon enough and I know that eventually everything will get done!Chat Icon

ETA: I have gained 20 pounds which I am happy about because I had gained much more at this point with DD.

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

I'll be 32 weeks on Monday. I'm feeling pretty good, but I did notice in the last week I had a decent amount of back pain, and a really annoying pain under my ribs. Luckily they only seem to be while I'm in certian positions and the pain is by no means unbearable. I'm up 22 pounds so far (which I'm guessing is fine, because no one has told me otherwise). I had my shower last weekend and got so much great stuff. DH is painting the moldings in the nursery this weekend, and once hes done with that we are going to put together the furniture (which is still sitting in boxes in our house). I can't wait to have everything painted and put together and start getting all of the stuff from the shower into the baby's room. Mostly I'm just getting so excited to meet Chat Icon. Only 57 days!!!!

31 weeks 2 days here... due 7/24.

honestly - compared to my last pregnancy, this pregnancy has been a breeze.

at this point last time i had already been on bedrest for 2 weeks... i was contracting every couple minutes and i was MISERABLE.

this time i am out and about! Chat Icon i've got ridiculous heartburn but it's well controlled with zantac.

i get a little sciatica now and then but it only lasts a few hours and goes away when i rest. had carpal tunnel last week for a few days, which SUKED, but luckily that went away...

up about 11lbs... a little less than last time.

my biggest complaint is that i'm exhausted ALL the time... and chasing my toddler around doesn't help.

but only 61 days left Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: **JULY MAMAS!** Check In!

34 weeks and doing pretty good! I was just telling DH how each week whatever I feel or experience is then exactly what I read in my Week by Week book so I'm having a textbook pregnancy!

We had our growth sono this past Wednesday and baby is measuring 4lbs 9oz to 4lbs 12oz and according to the book, that seems right on track. I have my uncomfortable moments and nights but with trying to rest more during the day, I feel better. A little swelling in my ankles and feet started yesterday but when I put my feet up more, it's not as bad.

I have one more visit in two weeks and then I go every week. Next visit is the strep 2 culture, woo hoo! And full internals start at 38 weeks. I'm up 9 pounds (plus size so being very careful).

I feel like I have lots to do but not really getting too anxious over it. We're doing the best we can to chug along!

Still have to do the nursery, have all the plans and materials, just have to do it. Furniture has been in and waiting for us to be ready for delivery.

Had my shower last weekend and have piles in the living room (that DH is done living with!). Stroller and snap n' go are put together but I'm not sure what else I should do and then where to put it.

I've been gathering things here and there for the hospital bag but nothing is together or in it!

I rub my belly every day and tell the baby that I cannot wait to meet you but do not come too soon okay? We still have lots to do! I just have a funny feeling that I'm going to be a late June mommy!

34 weeks and I am no longer a July mama. My amnio will be done on June 15th and as long as Chat Icon lungs are developed - she will be delivered June 16h (otherwise we wait one more week)

I am still suffering with insomnia this entire pregnancy and I can't stand it Chat Icon Now this past week I find I have PUPPS which makes this even so much more fun Chat Icon It's the itching that mostly drives me up the wall on top of not sleeping.

20 lbs weight gain so far and hopefully we'll get a new weight estimate at the perinatologist next week.

We still have so much to do Chat Icon I don't even know if I can list it all!
