July Mommies..bringing home baby

What are you bringing baby home in? I am getting different suggestions from all around.

I have the 1/2 shirts that snap on the side, with a diaper, but I am wondering if DD will be too cold in that? And if I do use that, do I put bottoms on her?

I am also wondering if I put on a full onesie, will she be too warm?

Do I need to put her in a cap and socks also?

TIA!

i plan on bringing her home in a long sleep/pant onesie.. rule of thumb is they should be in 1 layer more then you would wear. and given DH and i blast the AC i want her to not be freezing... and it has a cap that goes with it. Its very light weight i think its perfect!

dont mind the wrinkles

I have a pink Ralph Lauren polo dress she will wear home. I do need some sort of socks or booties...

I am bringing my Chat Icon home in a pink onsie and these little cotton capri pants with a pink elephant on the butt Chat Icon

I also have a hoodie that matches but it might be too hot. I also packed a blanket -- with a pink elephant on it.

My poor baby -- she's going to be so sick of pink elephants!! Chat Icon

I have a onesie, pants, socks, hat, and then another onesie that has long sleeves and feet in case its cooler out. Both are ducky themed because we don't know the gender.

remember you dont want any type of button or zipper over the baby's belly or it will get irritated from the cord
learned that with my last one when i was leaving the hospital

I'm bringing my baby home in a long sleeve onesie with feet. I'm also bringing a hat and 2 different blankets. I figure she won't be outside for more than a few seconds and the car will have the air conditioner on.
