I think the jumperoo only goes up to a certain weight - I would check into that first

maybe you could either borrow one or get a used one off of craigslist. My DC love their jumparoos and they are 1. They still go over to them everyday for at least a 1/2 hour.

I know for us, that DS was pretty much done with the jumperoo by 11 months or so.. he still went in it a little bit after that but he really was too big and more interested in crawling at that point to stay in there.. so we retired it officially at his first birthday
So I really don't think at this point you'll get much use out of it, IMO

I think it may not be worth it if the child is already 9 months old - my son LOVED the jumperoo from about 4 months until about 7 months, then it died down a LOT once he started moving around more, crawling, etc. The exercauser is a better bet.

I'm not sure if it's worth it. DD was done with hers at 10 1/2 months.

Steven was done with his before or around 9 months. It's just that their little legs get so strong, the whole thing looks like it will colapse, LOL.
I suggest you get something like this. They can jump more in this and it strengthens the top of the thigh, which the jumparoo does not. At least that's what a pediatrition told me.

DD has been done with hers since about 9 months. She doesn't get much bounce out of it anymore I think she's too tall.

It's not worth it IMO. We got our son one at about 9 mos and he barely used it.

since 7 months, Josh only sees his as a torture chamber. I put him in there while I am showering or ironing.
