I burn myself all the time and I've tried everything. Try soaking your fingers in soy sauce! It's worked the best for me.

 i have never heard of soy sauce! i've just run lukewarm water over them then ice until it stops hurting so much.  feel better!!

crack an egg open and discard it, keeping the shell. peel the inside of the shell and put the membrane on the burn.
I SWEAR this works!! but you have to do it as soon as you get burned.

Put some triple antibiotic ointment on it. It will melt and absorb the heat. Keep doing it until the pain stops.

run it under cool water, not cold. make sure you watch it, if it starts to blister you should really see a doctor, there is a chance you could get an infection.

avoid ice (becuase you could give your self frostbite in the same area you just burned), and topical medications (2nd degree burns can't handle them well). Also avoid germy things, since you could infect the are very easily.
do wash your fingers with mild soap in cool water.... and keep running cool water on it for a while. Then dry you fingers and cover them with clean gauze... keep it covered until your skin heals. that's all that can be done.

ohh I love silvadine cream. I think it is a prescription though. It works miracles. My brother had tons of it growning up because of a severe burn on his leg. We had it forever leftover. Then my mom got a burn a few years ago and the doctor gave her two tubs of it.. So now I have one.
