I go to Nassau Pediatrics in Franklin Square/West Hempstead on Dogwood Ave. I love them there.

 How the h*ll can a 2 month be "fat"? Good Lord! Im sure he's more than fine, that's so obnoxious. You'll be seeing that doctor more than any other doctor so its definitely one you want to feel really good about. My DH's family lives in Malverne, I'll ask my one SIL where she brings my nephew.

Awww i feel for you, Alyssa had her shots the other day too. I felt like crying. Im glad hes doing great on the new formula, Im sorry your ped was an idiot. I love babies that have chubby cheeks!!!!!

That's just uncalled and rude for the fat comments I lovvee babies with some meat on them. they look soo cute!
Those 2 month shots are brutal, I almost cried with her, I can't believe they gave her 4!

Well I just thank god that I never get to see a ped if they are all as horrible as that one!
You should have said to her, his chubbiness is nothing compared to yours! That would have shut the beeyotch up!

Our pediatrician's office makes fun of our little chubby monster all the time. He squeezes her little thighs and says, "now, that's all muscle right there"  For us, it's all in jest, but if my doc seriously started insulting my baby I'd be out of there in a second!

All of that plus the fact that your doctor encouraged you to stop BFing (I think it was you) would definitely make me look for a new ped.
If he wasn't gaining before you would think they would be happy he gained well this past month. 
I hope you find a doctor you feel more comfortable with and who listens and is able to ease any concerns you have.

Sounds like you need a new peditrician!
I lived in Lybrook but my Ped is in Mineola. my sister lives in Lynbrook and goes to a Ped. in Rockville Center. I will ask her the name of the one she uses.

I also love and use Nassau PEDIATRICS on dogwood avenue in FRanklin Square. Dr. Camilleri is my favorite. Nicholas just got his 2 months shot and he was great with him.

Thank you all so much! My family thinks I should def switch too. She was totally not joking around.
The time before that she was joking around on how many ugly babies she sees and when the parents leave she talks to the secretary about how ugly they are.
And she told me yesterday that she has so many patients that jumped the border
Thanks everyone for your recs. I will call them and see if this time I can meet with them. I guess it really is important to interview them first

Switch if don't feel comfortable. My ped heard my vaccine concern and called me in her office, sat me down and we discussed my concerns before she went near my DD. Go with you your instincts........The weight gain is great news

My son was a big pudge & I would here that comment. And I would pick up my son & say you hear that Patrick the doctor called you fat. You should have heard the appologies then. (Patrick was to young to understand.) I like pudgy babies! They lose it all when they start walking.

one of the Dr's in my ped's office said Hayley's weight was "off the curve on the chart" so he called her fat in different words. I have other problems with him and I am never going to see him again. I love my chubby baby!!!
