Just came home from Dr's, had a Growth Sono
Little is measuring approx 7lbs 2ozs... I am hoping her estimate is high and that this little one doesn't go over 8lbs...
Did anyone else measure about the same as me at 37 weeks?
Im 37 and 2 days today..

For both my cousin and a friend of mine their 40 week growth sono was about 1lb heavier than the baby was when born later that week.

Re: Just came home from Dr's, had a Growth Sono
She did measure my stomache and said it is measuring more like 35-36 weeks.
I also asked her how big the head measured, will it fit threw 10cm and not have such a bad 'ring of fire' (as I read in a mag) experience. She said it is measuring smaller than it should be..

My DS was born at 7lbs 2 oz at the beginning of my 37th week. He had a sono about 2-3 days before and was measuring 7lbs at 36 weeks.

Just had a growth sono too. I'm no comparison, as my is SMALL. I'm 36wks and she's only 5lbs 4oz.

Well they do say boys weight more than girls.
I personally would have loved to hear her say he is measuring 6 lbs. I say this because I was a whopping 10 1/2 lbs when I was born... I was the third and last child to be born but I don't want my third child (if I have 3) to be my size.. That is why I am so worried about my first born

They can be off by as much as 2 or 3 pounds. I was told that my 1st was 9 lbs when they did a NST on my EDD and he was only 7 lbs 10 oz. @ birth 2 days later.
