Just curious about having a family
for those of without super planning it - did you find that you were ready/prepared? or was it better or worse than you imagined. im just curious. im not preg and dont plan to be for a few years, just wondering if people are prepared for it when it does happen

No matter how hard you "prepare"- NOTHING prepares you more than the baby arriving. There are some ups and downs, but every minute is worth that little one smiling and cooing at you, and one day saying "I uv you too"-- Thats when motherhood REALLY makes you melt.

I agree with both ladies above....i had my son when i was 20 was NOT prepared but he was the best thing that ever happened to me , and although i did struggle i would noit change a second!!!! and it is true NOTHING can prepare for it i always say no matter how hard you think it is its 10 x harder, but so rewarding!

I was suprised with my BFP and had my daughter a little more then a year ago and I was not ready for it but I love being a mom and I wouldn't trade it in for the world there are hard times but its great

I think you put it perfectly! I wasn't expecting my BFP the first time OR this second time, but I couldn't be happier.

I dont' think anyone is ever prepared to have a baby - and certainly not prepared for how truly great being a mom is...
