DH didnt like it and it was just starting to get annoying so I deleted it

I don't know why people have them to begin with. I can see if you are single, and I can see using it as a webpage for family and friends. But minus the stalking (looking for old friends, etc).
I don't see the point.

I am single and wouldnt use myspace for dating. I like it because I have gotten in contact with a lot of old high school friends and I just like having something personal that I could update with cute pics and stuff and I like sneidng my friends silly comments.

With my job,I have friends all over the country. I also have family spread all over. The bulletin feature is wonderful.
It annoys me when people automatically make the assumption that just because someone has a MySpace page they're "looking" for something.
Yeah, I'm looking to keep in touch with firends and relatives.....
Thankfully it doesn't give DH a complex- (what a silly thing for him to get jealous about), because I'd never delete it.

Ditto. I also use it to talk to people who work with animal rights & such. The needs are so different across the country & it is good to chat with people who can share their knowledge.

And I set Rich up with his own profile, because I was getting tired of being his messenger. All of his friends would message ME with prospective plans for the weekend, because he didn't have a page! hahaha

I agree. I'm not a big myspace person at all. But it's nice to get messages and keep in touch with people. Through myspace, frinedster and facebook I've gotten in touch with childhood friends, so that's pretty cool

I started it "for fun" but actually have "found" some old friends that I lost touch with and some of us have really become friends again...it's good to see what other people are up to- but was def. more fun when I first started it
