Just discovered DS first tooth breaking through... Have a question?
I gave him some tylenol and he finally feel asleep. My question is, how long does it take for the tooth to finally push through? It could be two teeth, but of course, I'm not sure yet.

I was so excited when I felt his gums and they where a little sharp. Oh no, a few days!! Of course this is the first week both DH and I are both back to work. I work overnights so Dh will be with him all night. I hope he sleeps!

my DD's first tooth came out completely in like 2-3 weeks. it was a loooooong time. her top teeth poked through last week and we're here a week later and still just poking through little by little. i wonder what takes them so long! lol

Once we saw a white cap in DD's mouth, it would take a few days from then. In reality it took about 2 weeks from the time that I noticed her gums bulging. I made sure we had Tylenol readily available and once DD was 6 months old, Motrin. We give her Motrin now whenever she has teeth coming in since I find it better in reducing the swelling and I think better helps with her pain. Hang in there Mommy!
