Just finished book 5 of the game of thrones series....
And I'm soooooooo upset that I have to wait until 2015 for book 6!!  ugh. Boo!

Start trolling the fan boards and make your predictions  It helps to pass the time. You can also read the Dunk & Egg novellas.

I started reading the series again because I got too impatient waiting. I'm enjoying it a lot because I'm seeing things I missed the first time, and I know more about the characters now, so it makes it easier to understand everything.

Just finished book 5 of the game of thrones series....
I am on book 3 and DH is on book 5, and he keeps making all these noises and "oh this is so good" and "this is my favorite book so far" and aurgh!!! I need to read faster lol

I heard book 5 is amazing. Unfortunately I am still trying to get through book 4. So far this book is the slowest. I need to pick it up again and try to finish it before the summer.

I read all 4 of the first books just before the HBO series came out, then when the 5th book came out, snatched it up and devoured it.
Now, i've forgotten a lot of it and am really angry that we have to wait so long for the next one! And not to burst your bubble, but i wouldn't hold your breath for 2015 as he is notorious for saying a book will be done and then postponing it forever. I think it was 10 years or something silly like that between 4 and 5!
I figure when book 6 is definitely coming out, i'll go back and re-read them all again so its fresh and i'll be ready for 6.
It's so frustrating because i just want the stories to end already!
