Just got back from my 39 week appointment and first internal!
and I have no idea whats going on. The Dr. wouldn't tell me. He seemed to be in a bad mood, I assume he is sick of whiney pregnant woman.
All he said is that I am thinning out..I don't even care how much at this point bc I know that can change over night anyhow. I am crampy from the exam so maybe it will start things back up a little bit
oh and the internal was nothing. I seriously felt no pain. Maybe I am weird but i barely even felt his gigantic fat man hands (thats what DH called them when we left)

Hope it kicks things in motion for you! My 39wk is tomorrow morning. I'm getting so frustrated with waiting! This morning I found out a girl who was due the day after me went into labor early this morning. I almost started to cry!

Yes... his hands are rather large! HAHA when he walked in DH looks at me and mouths "Look at those fat fingers" - Of course this was DH's first internal experience as well so when we left he was like "how did he not kill you?!, you didnt even flinch"

I honestly don't care. Its just numbers to me. I know someone who walked around for 2 weeks at 3cm and another person that was 1cm and had the baby the next day. Everything can change so quickly anyhow... maybe thats what he figured as well.

I don't know.. they went away and never came back  think it was false labor! And he did say my cervix was high.. but hey ya never know - whenever this little dude is ready

Funny, I know two people that had the same stats... and I repeated the story to myself several times tonight, when I was told that I had no progress from last week!
You have a great attitude though. Your little boy will be here before you know it!
