Just got the big box of meds....
WOW - these needles are a LOT bigger than my little Lupron needles. I am not sure I will be able to handle it. And why are there sooooo many needles? I thought you only had to stim for 10 days or so. I have about 400 needles.

What meds? I got a lot more needles then I needed. There were some that came w/ the meds, some that came separately----I wound up not using many of them.
Just try to take it one day at a time....otherwise it can get overwhelming.

Which meds?
Sometimes the big needles are just for getting the meds out of the little container for mixing... then you switch to a regular small needle for the actual injection.
The only BIG needles are usually the IM ones.

I am pretty sure DH just used the big needle to mix the menopur. The needle he used was tiny----just like the Ovidrel shot.

yea.. the big one is to mix the menapur.. i freaked out too when i saw those.. they are all fine though!!

oh yes!!! there arer TONS of needles... some are for mixing and then you have your IM needles and regular needles... very overwhelming....
