Just had an upper endoscopy done today..
I just got home, and I feel fine. I still feel the local Anesthetic, and I am a little off balance when I walk, but that is it. I am just hoping my throat feels fine later. I got to the office at 9:30 and I went in around 9:50, and I was out by 11am. It was not a big deal at all. I was a little nervous about being put out, but that is it. Just giving the info to anyone who has to have this done in the future.

glad you are okay. They are not painful. Your throat may be scratchy tomorrow but once the anthesia wears off you will be fine. Was your dr able to tell you anything?

My husband just had one and swore that the hardest part was not being able to have a glass of wine for 24 hours.

Oh, everything was fine! He even told me not to take medication anymore. I am so relieved. They did take a biopsy of my stomach, that I have to wait 5-7 days for results. This was because of a past ulcer I had.
