Just in.....
Gov. Hochul says state indoor mask mandate or vaccine requirement for businesses will end tomorrow.
If we can get this to end for schools.

Just in.....
I believe by “mask or vaccine” it’s meant if you are not vaccinated you need a mask and if you are, you don’t need to wear one. Vaccine requirements for going indoor businesses/restaurants are still in effect for NYC.

Correct- it's removing the Dec mandate she put in place for businesses.
I ended that one for myself a while ago but at least I have more of a leg to stand on now.

Yup me too. Just went shopping and my kid said, do we need a mask. I said you can wear one (they are vaccinated) if you want but I am not. They didn't and many were not masked either in both stores.

Now that she officially announced it, you'll see more.
Many people are strict rule followers.
Others will still wear it because they want to, but the ones who were wearing it because she said so will drop after today

They do. Lol! I went into the office a few weeks ago and NYC felt like another planet. Vax cards and mask. I never need to show my card in Nj that I actually forgot it when I went into the city. I told my boss the last time I used the card was when I went into the city to have drinks with her about the job. Lol. My office didn’t make us wear masks though.

In NYC, isn't it becuase of the teacher's union? Didn't they make it a requirement of them returning to work- kids have to be masked or they wouldn't work?

Maybe, I guess that makes sense. I wonder what NJs reason. I hope 3/7 it’s done but I don’t trust Murphy or my sons school. My son doesn’t believe it will happen either. There are no restrictions in most of Nj, so not sure why it’s still in place at schools. For months we haven’t been wearing masks.

I have seen more and more and some have no clue what is going on, hence why I put it on my fb so people who only go on social media and don't turn on the TV will see too.
