Just me again....stressing away....need more advice 2/12 please
I am waiting to hear about something that I thought I would hear about on Monday and still haven't..every day is torture...
I hate this   I really just want an answer.

No kidding!!
Day 7 for me. I'm debating whether or not I should call. I wanted to give them enough time to send out a possible rejection letter, to avoid having that akward conversation, but it's been a week already. Come on now!!!

Ugh..
Well here's my full situation. I interviewed at a job for a management position in HR near my house. About 10 min away. Awesome. Not only that, the company and the people seemed GREAT. I had a first interview in late January. Went really well, met with 2 people, the 2nd person had to step out for something so I did not spend as much time with him. Got called back for a 2nd, went in last Friday. They told me that they were very impressed by me and the first person felt confident that I could do the job but he wanted to meet me again since he didn't get to stay long the first time. It went really well. Got an email that afternoon asking me to confirm my salary reqs. I replied (salary is in their range). Told me they would most likely get back to me by Monday. Monday comes and goes, so I send an email after work on Monday to confirm that they recevied my reply email on Friday. They email me back saying, yes they received it and would be in touch. Well now it's Thursday. I guess if I don't hear anything I can call on Monday? I just don't get it. I truly believe they will get back to me at some point but I hate waiting. Like one of my co-workers said to me, at this stage of the game I do have a right not to be left hanging...
eta I know it's out of my control..

Oy. I feel your pain, I really do. I would wait a few more days. It sounds like they're working out the kinks.
You know what's sad? I looked on my PC last night to see when I applied for this position - in AUGUST!!  Two interviews later, and STILL no word. The government has been putting me through the ringer for SIX months now!

Sorry about your situation, but it sounds like they really like you. Just hang in there...I'm sure they will get back to you soon. I hope all goes well!!!
I agree! I would wait today and tomorrow and if no word by tomorrow, follow-up on Monday!!

That is so frsutrating - I hate when potential jobs leave you hanging. You do have to remember that maybe its a busy week for them, someone may be out, etc. - a lot of factors beyond your control. It is somewaht unprofessional, but that is the way it is.
I agree with you that if you don't hear by close of biz Fri - call on Monday.

No advice to give, but I think that's so messed up that they would leave you hanging like that. Its just not good business practice. I hope they'll get back to you soon.
