Just need to vent.

I feel like I am constantly at this point in my pursuit of fitness....but alas, I could use some support.

I have been on a quest to build my ideal body and just can't seem to get there no matter how hard I try. I put on weight (purposely to try build muscle) and have now started the process of losing it. Actually I slowly started in the fall. It is a VERY slow..like painfully slow process for me as I am only 5 ft tall and when I started losing i was at about 105lbs. Now granted, this is by no means "fat" I know, but I wanted to lean out.

My nutritionist changed my food plan and I slowly started to lose. The process wasn't moving quickly enough and I guess subconsciously my eating disorder took over and I started eating less than he told me. My weight loss continued a little bit and I was starting to feel good about myself. I was at about 100lbs and he made some changes to the plan he gave me, NOT what I decided to do on my own to see if we could could make things happen a bit quicker. The problem is, his changes actually resulted in me eating more food than I was which I think is causing me to gain. Now, I say I think because I have my period (it has been working on my for 3 weeks and finally arrived!) and now I am weighing in around 101-102. I know this is such a small weight difference and most of it (including my hypersensitivity to it) could be related to my period but my clothes all feel snug and I just want to cry.

I hate feeling this way. I exercise, eat well and just want to feel better. Do any of you ladies have any advice? I am sorry if I sound crazy. I feel crazy to be honest. You ladies always are so supportive and I just thought maybe somone had some insight into how I am feeling. Thanks ladies.

Try to remind yourself that your first priority is to be healthy. It is concerning that you are unconsciously restricting your food intake. You may want to talk to your nutritionist about it. Also, if you have your period it is likely that you are more emotional than usual especially if your cycle is off. Feel better!
