Just needed to write this somewhere
This Saturday will be my DD's 2nd halloween and we are so excited. She is amazing.
However, it will also be 3 years since the day we found out we lost our first little girl. I went in for my ultrascreen and there was no HB.
Still, 3 years later, it hurts so bad. It's gotten easier but I will always remember that time of my life. The joy I felt finding out I was PG for the first time, the awe I was in seeing the flicker of a HB for the first time, and the devestation I felt when I found out we lost her.
BUT, I can't help but feel like Sydnie has a guardian angel big sister in spirit and I am so blessed to have Syd. If I had the first baby, I wouldn't have Syd so I know this was how it was all meant to be.
So I guess this post is just a tribute to my first DC as I approach her anniversary and also to let you all know that there are positive things to come for everyone.

Im sorry you are hurting but this is an excellent way of looking at the situation. My sister said this to me when I m/c, that when I am looking at the child I am meant to have it will all make sense. That actually gave me some peace.

I think that is a wonderful way to look at it. She probably has the best gaurdian angel! this is a great time to remember what you lost even though it makes you sad

that is a tough anniversary, but it helps to know that positive things are in the future! I hope you and your daughter have a wonderful halloween! How special it is to know that she has a little angel watching over her!
