Just wanted to share a tidbit about my DS - sometimes it's the little things

that can make a mommy so happy!

I have posted in the past about how I was worried about my 18 month old DS because whenever I would take him to a play group at the library or little gym, etc. he would cry and cry and cry. He would cry when we got there, during circle time. I was so concerned bc none of the other kids his age were crying. I even called the ped about it.

Well, even so, I enrolled him in library classes and at the Little Gym. He would cry so hard at the little gym that 3 weeks ago I felt so horrible that I felt like I was torturing him and considered just not going back.

Well guess what? Today my boy couldn't wait to get into the Little Gym! He actually grabbed my hand and led me inside. And when he got in there he ran onto the mats and started playing and having fun. I literally almost cried!!! I could not believe it!

I am so thrilled. It's amazing how fast they grow and develop. And how much a mommy can worry about something that ultimately turns out to be nothing

aww thats great! Sometimes its the consistency. I take my dd to playgroup and she is fine but if we miss a week or two when we go back she never wants to go in and play for about a good 15mins but then she is fine. if we go all the time consistenly she is fine its when we miss that that happens.
