Yes, it is surprisingly big for a 1 bedroom. We downsized from a 2 bedroom in MD, but our overall apartment is bigger here in NY. We feel much less caged in. Plus, the living room and tv is far away from the bedroom. So if one of us can't sleep, the other doesn't have to suffer, lol.
