Just went to see our first daycare...
And I cried on the car ride back to the office.
I mean, the daycare was great. I was very impressed and it's a great location for us (across the street from where we work).
And I know it's not until October that I have to leave him, but already the thought of leaving my little man makes me sad.
Hormonal, much??

Aw, I think that's a normal reaction. When Andrew was 8 weeks old I took him to check out a daycare and I bawled right there in the center.
That's nice that it's so close to your work. Then you can pop in and visit!

Look on the brighter side, you can spend lunchtime with him!

True. There were two moms there to breastfeed their babies while we were visiting.
(DH was trying hard to look ANYWHERE but near them!!)
I was just caught off guard by how emotional I got.
Good to know it's normal!!

It is emotional but now when I take my son he gets so excited to see his friends so I know he is happy and loves it.

Glad to hear you liked it. I had Roman in daycare close to work and used to pop in all the time. It actully made it harder because I never wanted to go back to work. Some days will be harder than others, hang in there

I did the same exact thing when I walked out of the first daycare we looked at (its the one we chose)... I almost couldn't hold back the tears while we were on the tour.
Not a hormonal thing at all, IMO... I think its a completely normal feeling.

Re: Just went to see our first daycare...
Yeah I was fuming when I found out that my job was getting rid of on-site daycare. We have looked at a few, but the one I had at work was so fantastic that none compare
DH & I are actually swapping our schedules around to not need daycare as much
