Just went to the BEST place ever to buy children's books!
Or any books for that fact. It's called Bargain Books in Patchogue. Am I the only one who didn't know about this place?! All the books are at least 60% off the retail price and are new! I bought $60 worth of books and I came home with a huge stack of them. Ava was in heaven! I even bougth tons of books for my classroom Just thought I'd share!

There's a Bargain Books in Centereach in the Walmart Shopping Center....I didnt look around in the other sections but for the kids books this is definitely the place to go.

I love that store! The prices are great!
I take my kids to the one in Centereach, they have story time every Wednesday morning at 10. It's really cute and my kids love it.

 OH YEH - we go there all the time!!! They have GREAT books for every age and I can get 10 books or more for the same price I would get 2 books at borders!! Also they have a great Oprah section in the back so you can get any book she recommends or is on her book club list!!

Ok, so I just called my mom to tell her about this place and tell her that I think we should buy books for my sister's baby there, and what did she say? "Oh, whoops, you probably should have known about that place sooner since Dad's good friends with the guy who owns those stores!"

Where in Patchogue is this store??? My trips to Borders cost me a minimum of 100/visit...

The one in Patchogue is on Sills Rd. right around where the Floral Fantasyland used to be.
They have a website, too.

I don't know if it's true but someone told me they are building one or there is one in the Port Jeff area as well. LOVE the one in Centereach.

My sister was the manager of the one in Port Jeff ..it's called Harbor View books, but it's owned by the same people.. it's on the back street of Port Jeff Village near Ecolin (sp?) Jewelers
My DS has so many books from when she used to work there.. they have awesome deals, it's a very good place to buy presents.
