Just when I thought Hate your DH week was officially over...
We had a long talk yesterday about how he needs to start helping me more (my friend that helped me - the one that made me cry I was so happy, also had a few words with him!)
He felt really badly, and told me he is going to start helping me
He did take over baby duty Thursday night...
so, tonight, during dinner, Cailen cries. While I'm eating again. i go up to get his bottle out of the fridge. all of a sudden DH jumps up too, and dashes to the kitchen. I'm starting to swell up with gratitude - he's racing to get the bottle before I get it! Oh my God! He beats me to the fridge... I'm about to cry....
And takes out the Brita pitcher.
Pours himself a nice tall glass of water.
Goes back to eating dinner.
And thus officially concludes our week ladies.

I'm sorry he's being an arse
You should have said, "since your up, why don't you give this to the baby" and handed him the bottle and sat down to eat.
Men will NOT think to do it, so you have to tell them. Annoying, I know, but they don't know any other way.

The way you tell a story makes me even when it shouldn't.
I'm sorry it's taking him some time to "get it".  he gets it soon before he doesn't "get it" at all

My DH would of done the same thing.
He tells me he "has to eat", on that note I guess I dont have to..
