Just wondering-How far along were you when the first item on your registry was purchased?

I am curious. I know it is early for me (18 weeks), but I know when I see the first thing bought I will be sooooo excited! My shower is probably going to be the second weekend in December (I am not permitted to fly after 28 weeks )

I was 24 weeks when my MIL bought her present off my registry. She was very specific about what she wanted to buy and wanted to get it before anyone else did. Since then a few other things have come off that I have no idea who they're from. My shower is Nov 7th and I have no idea if or when the invites go out. My Other MIL (long story) doesn't know I know she's throwing it!

I think around 25 weeks......before my invites went out I know that.

I was about 23 weeks. I'm 25 weeks now. The first (and only) item so far purchased is the convertible car seat. I've been checking everyday to see if anything else is going....but not yet. I dont think my shower invites went out yet. It's supposed to be a surprise but its killing me not knowing again. I swore I would be a stalker like I was with my bridal shower but once I see something else bought I'll know the invites went out and I'll feel better. I think I'm really just trying to justify stalking!

I registered at about 18 weeks on a saturday. when i went to add something i forgot that monday something had already been bought....cant wait to see who bought it

Since I registry stalk on a daily basis I know the answer to this lol. Last week-when I was 27 weeks the first items were bought off my registry. But I know for a fact my shower invitations haven't gone out yet.

I registered at 20 weeks and that week something was bought a few days later.

I registered around 18wks, since my shower is early (next weekend and I will be 24 wks). I think almost instantly, stuff started coming off the registry. But it was from our mom's, who apparently think the registry is their shopping list! Had to call each of them and explain that they need to leave stuff for the guests to buy!

Off my registry bought by somebody else...not yet, but invites were only recieved yesterday and the shower isn't until 11/01/09. My mom has bought: bedding, pictures, breast pump, and clothing for us, and my grandparents bought our furniture. So.............I guess we have been getting stuff we would have put on the registry, but not really seeing it come off. Does that make sense?

i registered around 20-21 weeks and i think my first item was bought around 24 weeks. people just knew i registered and starting buying before the invitations to my shower went out.
