Your most fertile days is the day ovulate and the surrounding days, every woman is different as to which day they O.

Unless you are really in tune with your body (EWCM, pain, etc..), yes... a OPK.
A lot of people ovulate after 14 days. How long are your cycles?

K no biggie, just wanted to figure that out. Since DD wasnt planned, and #2 is going to be, these are things I didnt know. Silly right?

What Sophie said - it depends on how long your cycle is.
Mine range from 30-34 days. The last two months I got a + on the OPK on day 15 one month - and day 16 last month!

If you want the simplest method... you can just BD every other day from when AF ends until your next expected AF. No counting involved!

The average woman will ovulate 14 days before her period. So if you have a 30 day cycle you will O on CD16.
The best way to tell would be a fertility monitor or OPK, but you can also tell by cervical mucus, when it has an egg white consistency, it usually mean you are fertile.
