K9 Advantix or Frontline?
Trying to determine which one is better. Which one do you use?

My vet recommend only Frontline and in our case, I use it.
We take her to the woods and/or beach almost every day so the odds of her picking up a tick are very high. I have found ticks on her, but they are never "dug in" and are easy to remove.
I have never seen a flea on her.
I know some people feel it is too much chemical, but unless your dog is only in the yard, I would feel safer using the Frontline. I don't want my dog to get Lyme disease if I can prevent it.

Frontline is the only one that does not contain an ingredient that many people, inlcluding me, are allergic to. I don't really have a choice. It works fine and my dog has had no ill effects.

other. none. both are dangerous, but Frontline is the only one ive heard to kill animals, so i would say go with Advantix if you need to.

Revolution, the main reason is that is has a heartworm preventative built in.

Frontline is great... we never find any ticks on Coop after a long day out and about. It's the only kind any of our vets (yes, we have more than one  ) recommend.
