Kaitlyn Jadence (August 1, 2006)

On July 31st(One day after my due date) I had my 40 week appointment. The doctor checked me and let me know that I was 1 cm dialated and she said that she wanted me to come back in to see her in 1 week to discuss induction if nothing had happened yet. I woke up with cramps around 2:30 am on August 1st. I went out on the computer trying to take my mind off the cramps. Then within 10 minutes my contractions were 10 minutes apart. I went in the bedroom and told my husband I really wanted to take a bath to ease the pain. My last labor was 12 hours so I was excepting the pain to last for a long time. Within 45 minutes my contractions were less then 2 minutes apart. My husband decided it was time to get dressed and go the the hospital. In the car I went into a trance where I had no pain. I was completly silent for the whole 20 minute car ride. The second we pulled up to the hospital (4:30 am) the pain came back . I was so worried that they would send me home or make me walk and I was in too much pain to walk. They checked me in fast and I was already begging for pain killers. When the nurse came in to check me I was already 9 cm and my water broke on her! Right then I knew it was too late for the epi and I was trying to bribe the nurses for some pain killers! By the time my doctor got there it was time to push. At 5:25 am Kaitlyn was here! It went so fast I was shocked. I couldn't believe I had just given birth with no pain meds!!!
She was 8 lbs 7 ozs 19.5 inches long
