Kate Hudson on Ryder's hair and getting him into sports

As the Fool's Gold press tour continues, Kate Hudson has more chances to talk about her son Ryder Russell, 4. Today, she covered one of CBB readers' favorite topics -- his hair! While appearing on Good Day LA, Jillian Barberie Reynolds asked Kate about the length of Ryder's locks at the moment. Kate laughed and replied,

As a matter of fact, I think there's a big cut about to happen. He finally, finally, wants to cut his hair, so I'm gonna to do it before it's too late, before he changes his mind. But really, it's hair. I mean c'mon, who does he need to impress?

On the Today show, Kate discussed the fact that her toddler has now turned into a pre-schooler.

He's 4-years old so he's starting to play sports you know. I've got him signed up for soccer and t-ball. I'm really excited about this phase.

Aw, that sounds like a sweet & loving mom! And I agree, while I don't personally love his long hair, she's made reference a few times in the past that he liked it long, so I'm all for individuality!
