keeping pumpkins outside after painting
I usually paint my pumpkins instead of carving them. It's been a couple of years since I've kept them outside after painting.
I'm worried that the acrylic paint will run outside in the rain, etc. I can't remember in the past if I used Modge Podge or maybe an acrylic spray on top of the paint to make a barrier to guard against rain.
Any suggestions?

the paint, once dry should really run....it may flake a bit after a few weeks...but by then the pumpkins should be ready to go in the garbage then anyway. at least mine go bad after a few weeks

Modge Podge or something like that would make sense and long as it does not smudge your work.
