Keg or beer bottles at kids party?
I say beer bottles and DH says a keg is easier. We've always gotten bottles in the past but I gues DH hates cleaning them all up I told DH a keg reminds me of college when I used to do keg stands

Keg!! and you get so much more for your money! We got one at DS's baptism..it was 85 bucks and it is like 130 cups of beer!
ETS: with a kids party you dont want to chance bottles breaking and glass being everywhere.

Re: Keg or beer bottles at kids party?
We've done both.....
My only issue I've run into with kegs is that on occasion I've had a ton left over With bottles I can save them for our next festivity
Kegs are definately easier though !

I say bottles:
I hate drinking beer from a cup or can (but that is just me ) If there is any left over it can be saved and drank at another time Not everyone likes one type of beer with bottles you can get a variety

Neither. I do not serve alcohol at my kids parties. The parties are for them, not the adults. Plus, I do not want to be responsible for an adult leaving my home with children in the car after they have been drinking.

Re: Keg or beer bottles at kids party?
Bottles! We actually ended up getting some cans, also, for DDs party. Between my friends and DH's friends- we're all drinkers- i dont think a keg would go over very well. We had a keg at our e-party years ago. I was 23 at the time and it worked, but my outlook on it has changed (like another person said- it reminds me of college and brings back memories of keg stands lol)

It's obviously bottles. Babies love bottles. Plus, they clearly lack the upper arm strength to pump the keg accordingly.
Perfect example of asking a question with an obvious answer

I agree, except I don't mind drinking from a cup, but we have always done bottles. Keg seems like a waste if it doesn't get finished, you are limited to one type of beer. Not to mention I'm very bad at returning things (yeahy for netflix)
Although on the other hand once the kids are in bed you can see if ya still got it in the keg stand dept

Re: Keg or beer bottles at kids party?
Whenever I get a keg everyone always drink their own beer that they bring (even when I say there is going to be a keg) and then I have a ton leftover and wind up having people come over to kick the keg before I return it.
I don't know if only my friends show up everywhere with their own beer though??

This is what we do. Plus it's easier to store the leftovers and you don't have to use them right away, like you do with a keg.
