Kenya, Tanzania (Zanzibar), and Rwanda
DH and I are in the final stages of planning a trip for January 2008. We are going to Kenya for safari, Tanzania (Zanzibar) for the beach, and Rwanda for a Gorilla Trek. We are staying at Mnemba in Zanzibar, Bateleur Camp in Kenya, House of Waine in Kenya, and the Intercontinental and Virgunda in Rwanda.
Has anyone been to these places and have any advice before we book with the TA? I am most curious whether people would recommend Tanzania instead of Kenya for safari since we will be there in January for the migration. I am still confused about the benefits of doing safari in Kenya at that time.
