Kidkraft table and chairs vs. PBK...worth the extra money?
Is it worth it to spend the extra $$ on the PBK table and chair set or is the KidKraft one good enough quality?
Looking for a table and chair set that my 3yr old DS can use for at least a year or two and my 8mo old (when she is old enough). I want something that is sturdy.
TIA!

We gave Kidcraft and have no complaints. We've had it for 3 years now and it has held up great and gets used plenty. We have the black Avalon table and 4 different colored chairs.

Great! THanks for responding! What age do you think this set would work up to? I really don't want to spend the extra money if it is not necessary!
ETA: I just checked out the avalon set and it looks better and bigger than the farmhouse one I was going to get. Do you think it would be good for a few years for a very tall three year old? TIA!

we have the pastel colored kidkraft one and I LOVE it. Its very sturdy and good quality. I can even sit on the chairs and they hold me up just fine. Its a great set and definately worth buying.

Don't waste the money on the PBK. I did last Christmas and the thing is so banged up already - total waste!

I used to think I HAD to get better quality furniture for DC. Most of our home furniture is, so why not for her?! Well I got her a great table and chair set from Ikea for $60 and it looks way better in our house than the one from PBK at 4x the price. Plus I won't be upset if she ruins it...

Kidcraft is good stuff. I wouldn't spend the extra money.
