kids at a christening?
My dh and I are beginning to plan dd's christening. He has A LOT of friends from work that he would like to invite, and they all have LOTS of kids. He thinks we have to invite everybody with kids. I think close friends and family, yes, but do we have to invite all the guys from work with their kids? The party is going to be a combined christening with my sister whose dd is 5 days older than my daughter. It will be at a catering hall most likely at night.

Re: kids at a christening?
If it's going to be a combined Christening do you even need to invite friends from work?
We did just family - no friends - and had about 75 people. If we threw friends and their kids into the mix it would have been closer to 125.
I think if you invite the friends from work though - you kind of need to invite their kids. JMO!

Well DH does not have a big family at all and he is really close with these guys, but we have gone back and forth with whether or not we have to invite them.
