Re: kids close in age??
Ours are 16 months apart. It wasn't totally intentional, we didn't think it would happen so fast since everyone we knew had a hard time getting pregnant with their second.
Overall it's going well. There are good days and bad, but the good far outweigh the bad. Andy's very high maintenance, he's got a milk protein allergy that we are having a tough time getting under control and severe excema, so in that regard it would be nice if Sarah wasn't at such a needy age. Otherwise no regrets.

Re: kids close in age??
We always knew we wanted our kids to be about 2 yrs apart, but it happened a little sooner. Nate and #2 will be 21 months apart.
I'm 5 and 9 years older than my brothers. DH has 2 older siblings who are 15+ years older than him. We both wished that we were closer in age to our siblings.

We wanted them closer in age than what we got (22 months apart). I wouldn't do anything different. I love that they don't remember the other one not being there.

Re: kids close in age??
We have had four pregnancies since our son. The first was unplanned but got us thinking they would have been about 17 months apart (I think I try not to think too much about it) then when we had the first miscarriage we tried again and had three more that ended in miscarriages. As of next week I will be under the care of RE for recurrent miscarriages and I am so glad we started sooner rather then later because now we know earlier that there is a problem and hopefully it won't delay getting Jack a sibling for much longer....
My brother and I are four years apart and it worked out well for us but Dh and his siblings are 7, 9, 10, 11 years apart and it was rough on him.
