For the last 2 weeks, we've been telling her, "Alex, baba (her interpretation of Grandpa) has a booboo, and that's why he isn't here, but he'll be home soon". She usually just looks at me quizzically.
But, last night, she was brushing her teeth, and out of nowhere, turned to me and said "Baba... booboo". So, I said, yes, Alex, that's right, Baba has a booboo right here (and I pointed to my heart). Alex looked at me, said, Baba... booboo again, and started to cry!
It was the sweetest thing

about 6 months ago, James threw a temper tantrum, threw himslef on the ground, kicking and screaming. My 3 yr old nephew looked up at me at shrugged his shoulders and said.."What the F_ck? I just cracked up laughing.
