Kids Shoe Sizing - how often does it go up a size
I remember the woman at Stride Rite saying that at this age childrens feet grow a 1/2 size - every two months.
Has this been true for your DC?

Our Stride Rite lady  told us 1/2 a size every 3 months. We got DD measured the week of her b-day, and will go back in a few weeks for fall shoes, that will be about 3 months, so we'll see.

Maybe she said three months - sounds about right. Two or three months. My bad!

Who the heck knows what's right...every kid is different, so I'd think every 2-3 months is average.

I am not really sure how often they grow but DS was a size 3.5 at 12 months and now is 6.5-7 at 28 months.
DD is between a 4.5 and 5

stride rite told us 3 months too and thats about right, DD was a 6 W beg of summer just got her measured last night and she is a 7 1/2 W !!!

josh totally hits spurts. one month he went up 2 sizes....now from june-aug he's been the same size

DD has growth spurts she was in the same size for months then over the summer she has gone from almost being into 3's in May to 4-4 1/2 now.
