Kind of another spinoff... Oceanside Gymboree??
I am considering signing Sydney up for the level 3 saturday morning class. Has anyone gone to the Oceanside Gymboree? what exactly do you do in these classes? Is it worth it? If we miss a Saturday could we do a weekday instead? TIA

I've gone to Oceanside Gymboree, I love Miss Jill there! It's fun and DS really likes it. If you can't make it to your scheduled class you can go to any other class that's age appropriate at any location on any day! They have a very good make-up policy. For the summer though they are running a special, if you sign up for a class you can go to as many per week as you want at any location. If you have any questions feel free to ask

I used to bring DD to that location and she went for pretty much about 6 mos straight. The level 3 classes they basically encourage them to learn how to climb, do some singing, etc. It is a good place for interaction. I didn't put DD this summer since the weather is warm out and we live by the beach.
You can sign up for a particualar class and if you miss a day you can make it up anytime (meaning any day). The only thing is if you don't make up your missed classes during the session you basically lose them unless you sign up again for a new session then it will carry foward.
I think it is so worth it especially if this is the only social interaction your child has with other kids.

My older son went there form 7 weeks to 3 years!! He loved it. They were great about make-ups. You even could transfer make-ups to the next session if you rejoined...

I just joined the Oceanside location. But we go during the week.
DS is in the level 3, which is 10 months until 16. So he is the youngest and the others are doing alot more than him, but he still has a good time. The teacher leads the group over to different areas and does different activites, gives out toys, does songs etc.
I have not has to make up a class yet, but from what I heard it is not a problem to do so.
They also offer a music class.
