kinda if related..anyone read The Secret?

i havent yet but my shrink keeps telling me to...that it may help with positive visualization.

if you have read it....do you like it?

or does it make you feel like poo such as...oh i didnt get pg this month..i must not have visualized/prayed/mediated enough and its my fault..kinda thing?

i dont want to read something that will make me feel worse about my inability to have a baby kwim? ty v much

I read it and loved it... I read it a few years ago (before TTC) I really do think visualizations helped me with other things in life (success at work, positive relationships, getting rid of negative energy/ppl etc)
I really dont know why I havent picked it up again for TTC purposes.
It can't hurt, made me look at things completely differently. I guess I just dont believe there's anything that will make me pg at this point.

BTW.. are we going to be 2ww buddies again? Are you going for iui this month?

Ho doll thanks for the info on the book! As far as my cycle just have to wait to get af since my neg beta. Usually takes a week to get af aftet stopping my pio shots. Where r u in ur cycle??

I saw the movie... I dont think it helped me at all. I guess I didn't pay enough attention either. I get daily inspiring emails from abraham hicks but those dont help me either lol. check him out .

Ehh it was ok. Don't think it really helped with anything. I do like the idea of the visualization board but I don't think it does anything for me. I do like inspirational quotes and things though. Reading success stories on here works just as well at boosting my positivity and strength
